Everybody knows that Curry/Thompson didn't shoot well last night and that KD almost single handedly helped GSW beat the Jazz. However, nobody mentioned that David West was one of the big culprits for the GSW's poor performance. On paper, West seems doing fine with 4 points in 2-2 shootings. However, those who watched the game should know that he played like a guard and didn't protect their hoop much. Most of the times, he was playing outside, far from the hoop and didn't guard Gobert (nor try to grab offensive rebound). So Gobert & others scored freely. West also made a couple of stupid double teaming mistakes and allowed Jazz to free up 3-point shooters and scored. As a result, his +/- is the worst at -14 while most of the GSW players are in + territories (McGee is +17). So besides Splash Brothers' poor shootings, West was the biggest problem last night....
