今天起在全球電台開始首播的新歌”勝利樂章”(暫譯)，是瑪麗亞歷經懷孕、產下龍鳳胎之後的全新單曲，請來曾一同創下多次排行佳績的黃金搭檔Jermaine Dupri與Bryan-Michael Cox製作，饒舌歌手Rick Ross 與Meek Mill也在這首新歌中獻聲。”勝利樂章”(暫譯)傳達著正面向上的訊息，她表示:「當我在譜寫『勝利樂章』時，我正在經歷一段低潮期，這首歌幫助我渡過這一切，當聽到這首歌的時候，請注意聽歌詞。」
而根據美國「US Weekly」報導，明年將與瑪麗亞搭檔入主美國偶像的熱門人選為菲董與尼克強納斯。酷帥有型的菲董為美國炙手可熱的音樂製作人，曾經製作過瑪麗亞的單曲，也曾客串過瑪麗亞的音樂錄影帶，而剛結束百老匯音樂劇演出的尼克強納斯則擁有廣大的年輕歌迷族群。繼續留任的評審蘭迪傑克森(Randy Jackson)則擔任瑪麗亞的樂手多年，兩人擁有絕佳的默契，讓人已經期待這四人組合將會在第12季「美國偶像」碰撞出什麼樣的火花。同樣令人好奇的包括瑪麗亞加入「美國偶像」將會開出什麼樣的後台要求，內情人士向「New York Post」透露，全部都是很普通的要求，只希望在後台準備飲水與點心而已，該內情人士還開玩笑說「他們並沒有要求我們要把屋頂換掉喔。」
